University of Iowa Student Blogger Highlights CALI

CALI would like to thank Laura Bergus, for highlighting CALI in a recent blog post.

Laura is a student at University of Iowa College of Law who is trying to help her school develop a social media best practices. We're very supportive of her effort to bring a positive change to her law school and hope that it is successful.

A couple of notes on her post...

Regarding the State of the CALI Website(s):
There appears to be dueling CALI websites because we are in the midst of carefully transferring our current website to a new content management system. Some of our services like the Legal Education Commons and this blog are already transferred, but the new website will likely bring with it a new look down the road.

We agree this is a much needed update and apologize for any inconvenience or confusion the process may cause.

Regarding Iowa's Non-Member Status:
If you currently work or attend the University of Iowa College of Law (or one of the four other non-CALI member ABA schools for that matter) and are interested in bringing CALI to your school, please contact us.

School administrators and staff who haven't looked into CALI in awhile may be surprised that a CALI membership means a lot more than simply CALI Lessons and CALI Awards for students.

Please let us know if you have any questions. We'd love to welcome a new member into the CALI Community.
