CALI Author What's New

CALI Author uses Macromedia Flash Player 8. This supports the usual image types such as .GIF and .JPGs. It doesn't support .AVI and .WAV files but CALI Author is able to create Flash-friendly versions automatically.

  • The default view in CALI Author Viewer mode is now the Flash viewer. This is the view that students see when running lessons from the CALI website or from the CD/DVDROM. This is also what AutoPublish lesson users will see.
  • This version supports AutoPublish and ScoreSave. Please refer to the AutoPublish FAQ and ScoreSave FAQ on the CALI website for more information.
  • While permitted, we recommend not inserting images into tables. The layout in Flash is problematic.
