Business Schools: Why and How Should We Join CALI?
CALI offers deeply discounted annual dues of $1,000 to any business school.
To join CALI, use this form or contact LaVonne Molde: 612-627-4908, lvmolde@cali.org.
This is what your buiness school gets with a CALI membership for only $1,000/year:
Medianotes:
Member organizations get free copies of MediaNotes video-tagging software. Medianotes is perfect for giving more precise feedback on students' performance-based skills like business negotiations, presentations, and intereviews. Learn more about MediaNotes.
CALI Lessons:
Your school's students, faculty, and staff receive unlimited, free access to CALI lessons.
But aren't CALI Lessons for law schools?: As you browse the lessons, you'll find some that you may consider too advanced for business students. This is because lessons are usually made for law students. This is another reason business schools' dues are just $1,000, while law schools currently contribute 5x that for the same material.
We're confident you'll find lots of applicable content for your school. And, really, if you can find just a few lessons to match your curriculum, a CALI membership is well worth it.
CALI Author:
Your faculty and staff can use CALI Author, the easy-to-use software we use to create CALI Lessons, to author their own lessons and to edit current ones. Find out more about CALI Author here.
CALI Conference Discount:
Anyone at your organization can attend The Conference for Law School Computing® at a discount and learn about technology and innovation in legal education. Click to see the CALI Conference website.
Classcaster®:
Our blogging and podcasting network allows faculty and staff to create free course blogs and even post class lectures. It is completely free for member schools. More on ClassCaster®.
New CALI tools like eLangdell, our open source casebook initiative, represent the type of projects CALI continues to undertake: forward-thinking endeavors designed to improve legal education in dramatic ways.
As a member of CALI, you not only can access these exciting projects as they are unveiled, but you support their implementation and continued growth.
