For more than twenty years she has been teaching and publishing in the areas of labor law and labor arbitration. She is the co-author of Labor Arbitration: A Coursebook (West, 1994). Professor Cooper is the former Chair of the Section on Labor and Employment Law of the Association of American Law Schools and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Labor Law Group Trust, an international organization of law teachers devoted to the preparation of teaching materials in labor and employment law. Professor Cooper has served as an attorney for the National Labor Relations Board and is an experienced labor arbitrator and member of the National Academy of Arbitrators.
