Handbook on Motion Practice
Description
A guide for students in a clinical setting or any practice-oriented course in writing civil motions. The handbook covers major motion types, giving practical instruction on what such motions are intended to accomplish, when to file, and a wealth of information on not only the proper form of a written motion, but how to present them in the most effective manner. There is an extensive set of exercises to reinforce a student's mastery of motion practice.
The Handbook is written by Katrin Rowan and Nan Haynes, both have extensive experience as both practitioners and educators. The Handbook comes with a Teacher's manual, available to faculty.
