22. Saving Lessons

Saving your lesson is important. CALI advises authors to save early and often, as computer crashes do occur. As a default, CALI Author prompts you every fifteen minutes to save your book. You can specify how often CALI Author prompts you to save your book. Select View-Options and the Authoring & Saving tab. Finally, CALI Author prompts you to save your book before you leave the program. When you click on the file menu or use the ALT-F keyboard combination you will see the file menu (below), allowing you to save your book. There are three ways to save lessons in CALI Author: (1) Save Book, (2) Save Book as, and (3) Save a copy; each save option serves a different purpose.
