Florida Legal Research: Uniform Citation System

This lesson teaches proper use of citation in Florida legal documents and court memoranda. You'll want to have a Bluebook handy while doing this lesson.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of the lesson, the student will be able to:
1. Distinguish when to use Florida's standardized citation system, Rule 9.800, Florida Rules of Appellate Procedure, or The Bluebook for citing primary and secondary sources.
2. Apply proper citation format.
