Kathleen (Katie) Brown received her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science in 2006 from Drexel University. In 2005, she completed her JD with an emphasis in the area of intellectual property law. While in law school, Katie was an intern at Seattle University law library and a volunteer with Washington Lawyers for the Arts. Prior to attending law school, she was an acting teacher in the suburbs of Chicago.
As a professional librarian she has worked at both St. Thomas University Law School and Oklahoma City University Law School. Katie Brown’s current role is as the Associate Dean for Library Services at Charlotte School of Law.
