CALI Website Launch Delayed – Now Scheduled for June 11- 12

As we work to put the final touches on the first redesign of the CALI website in over 5 years we want to make sure that everything works and that all of the features you count on are working properly. Over the course of this week it became apparent that everything wouldn’t be ready in time to launch the new website on June 2 & 3 as planned. Rather than going ahead with a site that we knew wasn’t quite ready we made the difficult decision to push back the launch of the redesigned website to June 11 & 12, 2014.


A New Look for CALI’s Website – Important Dates to Note!

The wait is almost over….CALI will be revealing a new design to our website on TUESDAY, JUNE 3, 2014.


It’s more than just a facelift, although we think the new design is rather pretty.  (Check out the screenshots below for a sneak peek.)  There are going to be some great new features with the website, including:


  • Cleaner interface for easier navigation
  • Tighter search function that incorporates more CALI resources

Teaching Law Students to Program?

One of the more controversial suggestions in legal education reform is the idea that law students should learn computer programming.  Critics wonder what possible use this could have.  Are future lawyers going to have to build their own tools?  Is it only useful for students preparing for a career with a legal product developer?
